About the Coffee Trade Federation

The Federation was established in 1972 as an amalgamation of the separate associations which had previously represented roasters, merchants and brokers.

Membership was subseqently opend up to all those involved in the coffee trade.

As mentioned elsewhere, on the 1st January 2008 the Federation joined forces with the British Coffee Association. The Federation will eventually wind up at a date compatible with its responsibilities as an arbitral body.
